What is E-POR?
E-POR is made from high density polyethylene and allows
tissue ingowth. Histologic analyses of biopsies from human implants have
demonstrated tissue integration. In Vitro and In Vivo studies have shown porous
polyethylene to be void of systemic or cytotoxic effects with minimal fibrous
encapsulation of the implant.
E-POR can be cut or carved with a sharp
instrument without collapsing the pore structure. Pre-soak E-POR in a hot
sterile saline bath and bend to shape.
E-POR is available in a wide range of
shapes and sizes for use in craniofacial reconstruction and augmentations. Implants
provided sterile.
